ARREBATO 1979 with English subs and short
Made in 1979, this incredible art film by Spanish director Ivan Zulueta
tells the delusional story of an independent filmmaker and his bizarre
dissent into drugs, vampirism, and his own cinematic visions. While
watching, one can't help but see the connections to David Cronenberg's
Videodrome, which this film predates by 5 years!
This daring film combines the best elements of Bunuel, Arrabal,
Cronenberg and Lynch without ever seeming derivative, phony or
self-conscious. Arrebato is without a doubt a lost classic that needs to
be revived. Simply put, this is one of the most haunting, strange and
original films you will ever see!
This formerly obscure, but rapidly becoming popular 'cult' masterpiece
has been described as a superior HORROR film without being supernatural.
A vampire concept, where the characters are principally addicted to film
and feed off it to the point of madness.
EXCELLENT quality print in original Spanish language WITH English subtitles and the short film LEO ES PARDO which is said to be the basis for ARREBATO.
DVDs
are DVD-R technology. DVD-R discs are compatible with most newer DVD
players from approximately 2002 and up. Virtually all future players
from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and many current DVD
players are DVD-R compatible even though this format may not be listed
on their disc compatibility charts. Please be advised that it is YOUR

of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial
