Der Student von Prag akd The Student of Prague rare '35
The extremely rare 1935 version of the film...the second remake of the classic of 1913. Prague in the 1880s. Balduin
has fallen in love with Julia, however, worlds separate the poor
student and the opera diva. This changes when mysterious Dr. Carpis,
former lover Julias, from Balduin takes away his reflection.
With the play Balduin Baron Waldis, to an admirer Julias, his property
decreases. When the baron challenges to a duel him after a little
while, Julia Balduin asks to spare the life of his opponent. However,
his jealousy, goaded by Dr. Carpis, and the haunting reflection move
Balduin so into rage that he kills baron Waldis. To finish the
haunting, Balduin shoots at his reflection and sinks fatally dripped to
ground.
Okay...the good news is we've got this. The not as good news is that it's in original German with no English subtitles and the quality is a bit 'soft', though still quite watchable.

Virtually all future players from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and many current DVD players are DVD-R compatible even though this format may not be listed on their disc compatibility charts. Though many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial or factory releases.
