Hell's Chosen Few rare biker flick 1968
HELL'S CHOSEN FEW is about, well, Hell's Chosen Few, a bike gang that
rumbles through a sleepy small town one day and is warned by the
authorities not to try any funny business, to stick to one side of the
beach and to not bother any of the locals. (Shades of DEVIL'S ANGELS.)
Alas, some familial drama between the drunken sheriff and a local boy
results in the latter's death, and the sheriff finds it mighty
convenient to simply pin it on one of the Chosen Few. That is, until
the guy's Marine Corps brother blows into town...
HELL'S CHOSEN FEW is nobody's idea of art - it's a cheapjack,
endearingly clumsy B-movie through and through, a film that stretches
its meager budget through rafts of dialogue and plenty of scenes that
pad out the running time. Yet, strangely, this works in the film's
favor; since it's in no hurry to get down to business, preferring
instead to hang out with its hairy biker buddies, it crafts its own
authentically loose and scuzzy vibe without really trying. Add in a
certain charming amount of technical ineptitude and lots of dimestore
"attitude" via the would-be hard-boiled dialogue, and what you've got
is a good time. It's not as tough as it thinks it is, but then maybe
that's the point.
Qualitywise, this about a 7 out of possible 10. Very, very watchable, but do not expect modern day remastered quality.

Though many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial or factory releases.
