BEAST WITH 1,000,000 EYES rare 1955 Horror
Notable for the presence of former silent film great Chester Conklin, this sci-fi flick from legendary producer Roger Corman is a blend of alien-invasion fare such as It Came from Outer Space and sundry "animals-run-amok" movies. When an invading alien touches down in a desert township outside of Indio, California (in a spacecraft that resembles a kitchen appliance), it begins it's plan of world domination by controlling the minds of various animals, which subsequently attack the townspeople. The animal attacks are numerous and one, a scene of homicidal birds, beat Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds by a full five years.
DVDs are DVD-R technology. DVD-R discs are compatible with most newer DVD players from approximately 2002 and up. Virtually all future players from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and many current DVD players are DVD-R compatible even though this format may not be listed on their disc compatibility charts. Please be advised that it is YOUR responsibility to verify that your player is capable of playing DVD-Rs. Due to the vast variety of DVD players, we will NOT accept returns on these items due to incompatibility. Though many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial or factory releases.
