STARDUST 1974 David Essex THAT'LL BE...sequel
Stardust is the sequel to THAT'LL BE THE DAY, a 1973 film
about the rise of a Beatles-like rock group. Real-life rock star
David Essex plays singer Jim Maclaine (read: John Lennon),
whose sudden rise to fame has enriched him beyond his
wildest dreams. His perspective and sense of values skewed
by sex, drugs and booze, Maclaine becomes little more than a
singing cypher, outwardly successful but hollow inside. Ironically,
Keith Moon of The Who, whose own life paralleled the fictional
Maclaine's in many ways, appears in a supporting role. Dave
Edmunds, who appears in as Alex, co-wrote the film's pulsating
musical score with David Puttnam (the film's producer). Very-nice quality print.
DVDs are DVD-R technology. DVD-R discs are compatible with most newer DVD players from approximately 2002 and up. Virtually all future players from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and many current DVD players are DVD-R compatible even though this format may not be listed on their disc compatibility charts. Please be advised that it is YOUR responsibility to verify that your player is capable of playing DVD-Rs. Due to the vast variety of DVD players, we will NOT accept returns on these items due to incompatibility. Though many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial or factory releases.
