ANDY KAUFMAN'S FUNHOUSE - rare UNCUT version
Andy's pet project that was confirmed in his TAXI contract couldn't have come off much better than it did. ABC unfortunately, refused to air it until two years after it's completion! All of Andy's best bits and characters are here along with a few things not seen so frequently.
We see Andy playing the role of an egomaniacal TV star during 'presumed' commercial breaks and taking guest Cindy Williams of 'Laverne and Shirley' fame around in circles during her interview.
Also seen is celebrity has-been corner, breaks for chocolate milk, foreign man, Elvis and Andy's usual tricks. This special was near the high point of his career and he's on top of his game here.
And, as if all the above wasn't enough, this is the ultra-rare version of this special seen exactly the way it aired, UNCUT and with the original commercials.
An 'official' release of this a few years ago was cut and some segments rearranged.
Quality is about a good 7 to 7.5 out of possible 10.

Though many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial or factory releases.
