ONE STEP BEYOND 1959 anthology series ALL 97 episodes!
Produced at the same time as the more well-know Twilight Zone, this series fed the nation's growing interest in paranormal suspense in a different way. Rather than creating fictional stories with supernatural twists and turns, this program sought out 'real' stories of the supernatural, including ghosts, disappearances, monsters, etc., and re-creating them for each episode.
Okay...let me be REAL specific on this one. Personally, this is one of my favorite series and trying to find ALL 97 episodes was damn near impossible. But...I did. :).
So that you know, the 97 episodes come from different sources, though from what I've seen, most are from film transfer or the equivalent A few do appear to be from old television showings. Most are very nice quality. A few are not quite as nice, but still nice on the whole.
At any rate...if you are a fan of this show as I am, you can finally get all 97 episodes at once on this 14-disc DVD set.
DVDs
are DVD-R technology. DVD-R discs are compatible with most newer DVD
players from approximately 2002 and up. Virtually all future players
from major companies will be DVD-R compatible and many current DVD
players are DVD-R compatible even though this format may not be listed
on their disc compatibility charts. Please be advised that it is YOUR
responsibility to verify that your player is capable of playing DVD-Rs.
Due to the vast variety of DVD players, we will NOT accept returns on
these items due to incompatibility. If you are unsure of your player's
compatibility please consult either\both of these frequently-updated,
online compatibility charts for a comprehensive list of most older DVD

Though
many do, for the most part, these discs usually do not contain any type
of additional or "bonus" materials sometimes associated with commercial
or factory releases.
