NOSFERATU IN VENICE aka VAMPIRE IN VENICE Klaus Kinski
In this sequel to 1987's Nosferatu the Vampire, Nosferatu (Klaus Kinski) is brought back to life by gypsies and shows his thanks by pushing an old lady out of a window onto a row of spikes. He seduces a local princess and battles a professor (Christopher Plummer) who is out to destroy him. Stars Klaus Kinski, Christopher Plummer and Donald Pleasence.
An interesting tidbit of info on this film: On his first day, Klaus Kinski got into a violent argument with director Mario Caiano and refused to work with him. The director then agreed to leave the set (after being paid his full salary), the third director to leave the picture before principal photography was complete. Facing disaster, producer Augusto Caminito then decided to direct the film himself so he wouldn't have to pay another director. Since he had almost no directing experience, he was helped by his assistant Luigi Cozzi. Kinski also reportedly directed some scenes himself.
