60s MALCOLM STARR VINTAGE PALE YELLOW EVENING GOWN AND COAT

Luxurious circa 1960s vintage pale yellow designer evening gown along with matching evening maxi coat from MALCOLM STARR for BONWIT TELLER. The elegant evening gown features a lean/column style silhouette closing at the back with a hidden zipper, fully lined. The matching maxi coat is design full and loose, closing at the upper front with four deep yellow circular buttons, full/deep cut back vent, fully lined. Signature 1960s high style and sophistication! There is no fabric content label attached but we believe the gown to be made of silk chiffon and lined with same color silk/cotton blend fabric. The coat we beleive to be made of winter weight silk and backed with a fluffy cotton fleece and then fully lined with another layer of same color rayon. The condition is very good vintage with a less than 1/2 inch repair to the gown in three places along the sleeve seam/not noticeable when worn or displayed, small water stain area at the shoulder. The coat showing ever so slight/faint water mark at the upper shoulder and along the lower back toward the hemline, with two tiny pin dot holes. These flaws are very faint and should be of no issue, however please take not as we offer no returns and buyer please be aware that we are have stated them. They should not present a problem when worn. Perhaps would have gone un-noticable if not mention as we did not see them at all when we purchased the ensemble because they are so faint. The two items are more than presentable/very strong and sound, buyers of vintage items should have no issue with condition. Label states, MALCOLM STARR, additional lable states BONWIT TELLER.
Approximate MEASUREMENTS are as follows: Shoulder to shoulder gown is 13 inches, 35 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 36 inch hip, from shoulder to hem is 55 inches. Maxi coat measures 16 inch shoulder to shoulder seam, 36 inch bust, 38 inch waist, 46 inch hip, 21 inch sleeve, 56 inch shoulder to hemline.
