Vintage Paint Decorated Tin Box New York, NY
The following listing is for a neat painted tin box made by the Metal Packaging Corporation of New York. It has a shaped top and simulated grain painting on all sides and the top, with a ribboned/diamond border. The top is domed and sturdily made. It's in good condition, although it does have wear and scratching consistent with age and use. It has discoloration inside, typical of old tin or metal items. The paint upon close inspection, shows a great crackle finish that indicates good age. It measures approximately 9 1/4" by 5 3/4" and is about 3" tall. Nice piece of unusual painted tin!!
