SWEET Vt Pillow Embroidery Girl Flowers Arbor
The following listing is for a darling vintage pillow. The pillow has a beautiful needlepoint or embroidered scene showing a young woman carrying a flower basket. She is standing in a group of flowers in front of a flower covered arbor, with the sky and birds in the background. As the pillow is quite old it does have overall discoloration and spotting, (I'm sure it was much lighter when it was made) and a stain on the back. It could definitely use cleaning, but as I'm unsure of how to do this, will leave that choice up to the buyer. The condition is good other than the need for cleaning, with one small worn area on the front and a hole the size of a pin on the back. There are some missing threads on the flowers that I just noticed while inspecting it, so they are not terribly glaring. It measures approximately 12 1/2" wide at the bottom and is about 9 1/2" high. This was packed away in the attic we bought out here in the area for many years, and is new to the market. Please ask for insurance; it isn't included in the shipping costs.
