Four 40s-50s Fishing Valentines Pole Boy Girl Fish
This are four old valentines with a fishing theme. They measure from 3-3/4" x 4-1/4" to 4-1/2" x 6-1/2". (Smallest to largest: The first says "Be My Of-Fish-Ial Valentine" and shows a boy with a fishing pole - fishes are leaping and a cat is watching. This one looks older as the designs are empbossed. This one is in very good condition - there are names on the back in pen. The next one shows a boy with a fishing pole and at the end of his line is a heart. It says "I'm fishing for your heart". The valentine is in good condition - there are names on the back in pen - there is a small light stain on the front. The third one says "I'm fishing for your heart - My head is what I use for Bait, Please be mine soon 'cause I can't wait!". It shows a boy fishing off a pier with an open can of worms with a heart on it. The arm on the boy moves back and forth. The valentine is only in fair condition because there is a tear at the bottom and top of the heart that is in the upper left hand corner - there is a name written on the back in pen. The fourth one shows a girl sitting on a rock with a pole and it says "I'm throwing you a line, valentine! Be mine". The heart attached to the bobber swivels back and forth. This valentine is in good condition - there are names on the back in pen - there are a couple small creases. A NICE GROUP OF FISHING VALENTINES WHICH WOULD BE A NICE GIFT! Postage is $3.50 .
