5 Diff Kiddieland Game Tokens Carousel Melrose Park IL
These are five different game tokens from the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois. Each one measures 7/8" (slightly smaller than a quarter). The newest is from from 2003 and has "75 Years Kiddieland Amusement Park 1929 - 2003" on one side and "No Cash Value" on the other. The next one has "Kiddieland Melrose Park, IL" on one side and " No Cash Value" on the other. The third one has a clown with balloons pictured and "The Best Kind of Fun - Kiddieland - Game Token" on one side and on the back "For Replay Only" in the center and "No Cash Value" along the top. The fourth one has a clown with balloons pictured and "The Best Kind of Fun - Kiddieland - Game Token" on one side and on the back "No Cash Value" in the center and "For Replay Only" along the top. (Other differences between 3 & 4 - On #4 there are small lines along the rim all around the front, while on #3 there are none. On the back of #4 there are what look like leaves/wheat along the bottom, while on #3 there are stars along the bottom.) The fifth one has a carousel horse pictured with "Kiddieland Amusement Park" on one side and "No Cash Value" on the other. The 75th anniversary one is in the best condition, since it is only 6 years old. The other ones have more nicks from use in the arcade with the oldest two, the carousel horse and clown #4 having the most wear. #3 was from a box of tokens that the park had not used and only found when they were closing, so it is in excellent shape. THIS WOULD BE A NICE SET TO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE PARK! Postage is $3.00.
