Katharine Hepburn Italian 1947 Cary Grant Philadelphia
This is the August 26, 1947 issue of Luci del Luna Park. This was published in Milan Italy and is in Italian. It appears to be a romance-type comic. This oversize magazine measures 10" x 14" and has 12 pages. The cover has a photo of Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant in "Scandolo a Filadelfia" (Philadelphia Story). Nothing else appears inside on Hepburn or Grant. The only other movie-related thing I see is a 1/3 page article on Irene Dunne with one photo. The article on Dunne is titled "Ho conosciuto" which may mean "I have known" (according to internet translation). It appears this may be a short bio of her. Half of the 12 pages are comics and nothing else inside appears to be film-related. Many movies during the war years were not released in Italy until after the war ended, so that is why this would appear on the magazine in Italy years after it was released in the U.S. The magazine is in good condition - it is lightly yellowed with age - there are a few creases in the lower left hand corner - there is some light dirt on the cover - there is a small tear in the upper left hand corner of the cover - there are a couple small tears along the right edge - there are a couple small tears along the top edge of the cover.
