'17 Dr Schuyler Wheeler Glass Slide Train Blind Workers
This is an original glass slide that was sent to a movie theater in Green Bay, WI in 1917 & 1918 to show between films giving current news and events. This glass slide's caption is "In Ampere, N.J. is The Double Duty Finger Guild, where Dr. Schuyler S. Wheeler is instructing the Blind to manufacture electrical apparatus. Photo shows workroom in full swing." "Shown through courtesy of Joannes Bros. Company - Home of Martha Washington Pure Food Products". This glass slide was produced by the Western Newspaper Union of New York. The slide measures 3-1/4" x 4". The glass slide is in fair condition because it is discolored and if you look very closely with a magnifying glass you can see a pattern from something getting between the slides of glass. A NICE PIECE OF NEWS MEMORABILIA! Postage is $3.50. (And if you order more than one slide at the same time add $1 postage for each extra slide.)
