'36 Fred Astaire Orig RKO Pub Photo Shall We Dance
All my photos are original vintage movie studio photos from 1926 through 1939. This is an original promotional still from 1936 promoting "Stepping Toes" with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. (The film was released in 1937 as "Shall We Dance). This is a behind the scenes photo with a press release attached at the bottom. This glossy photo would have been sent to newspapers and magazines to promote the film. The reference number in the lower right hand corner is "WS-Pub-A86". On the back of the still it notes that the photo is by John Miehle and has an RKO Radio Pictures, Inc stamp. The photo measures 8" x 10". This still is in good condition - there are some small circular creases - there is a crease along the top edge - there is a light red mark along the top margin - there is a circular crease in the middle - the photo is yellowed - there are some creases along the bottom where the press release was glued on the back - there are a few light marks. This photo was printed in 1936 and is not a new reprint. A NICE FRED ASTAIRE PHOTO! Postage is $5.
