1935 Errol Flynn Captain Blood Original Photo Sword
This is an original promotional still from the 1935 film "Captain Blood". The photo features Errol Flynn brandishing his sword. This glossy photo would have been sent to newspapers, magazines and movie theaters to promote the film. The reference number in the lower right hand corner is "CB-205". The still is in good condition - the upper left hand corner border has a small crease - there are a couple 1" creases to the left of Flynn's left arm - there is a 1-1/2" horizontal crease above Flynn's eyes - there are a few light creases on the left half of the still (most visible if you hold the still at an angle in the light) - there are a few other light marks. The photo measure 8" x 10". This photo was printed in the 1930s and is not a new reprint. Postage is $4. All my photos are original vintage movie studio photos from 1929 through 1936. I purchased these about 35 years ago from a man in Chicago who ran an artist's reference service in the late 1930s and 1940s. If an artist wanted a western scene he would send them a couple to use as a reference for their artwork. These were sorted by what was in the scene: western, mystery, prison, etc. I've decided to sell some of my collection of these.
