1945 Poster Kids Play Hopscotch in Central Park NYC
This is an original Timely News poster sent to McCoy Cleaners in Illinois on March 27, 1945 which shows kids playing Hopscotch or Potsy in Central Park in New York City. Six days a week these posters would be sent to businesses to display in their businesses. The poster measures 11" x 17". The poster has creases from being folded into sixths to be mailed (see mailing address on back photo). This would have been folded into sixths into the size of a letter and then mailed to the business. There are a couple holes near the top where they would have pushed it onto nails or binder clips to display. The poster is in good condition - there are three tears on the top edge - the left upper 6" of edge is torn. A NICE PIECE OF NEW YORK CITY MEMORABILIA! Postage is $3.75.
