Original 1946 MGM The Yearling Premium Claude Jarman Jr
This is an original premium print given out at the State and Lake Theatre in Chicago in 1946. The paper print measures 8-1/2" x 11". It looks like the print has similar artwork as was used on the movie poster - the artist may by Douglass as that name appears in the upper left hand corner of the print. The premium has the facsimile autograph of the young star of the film in the lower right hand corner (Claude Jarman Jr.). On the back the original owner wrote "State + Lake Theatre - Chicago's Loop" which is probably where they were given the print when they went to that theater in 1946. This lot also includes the original LOEW's Incorporated envelope it was probably given to the person in. The print is in very good condition - it is lightly yellowed with age - there is a small crease in the lower right hand corner margin. The envelope is yellowed with age and has some splits. A NICE PIECE OF YEARLING MEMORABILIA WHICH WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! Postage is $4.25.
