'62 My Three Sons Chicago TV News Local Guide New Shows
This is the Chicago Daily TV News magazine from the week of July 28, 1962. This magazine was given away free inside the Sunday Daily News in the Chicago area and it has all the listings for Chicago TV shows for the week. It measures 5-1/4" x 7-1/2" and has 42 pages. The cover features Fred MacMurray and Stanley Livingston of My Three Sons. (Nothing else inside on the show.) There are two pages of descriptions of the new TV shows including: the Lucy Show, Beverly Hillbillies, the Jackie Gleason Show, the Virginian, the Jetsons, Combat, McHale's Men (must have been the working title for McHale's Navy), etc. The magazine is in good condition - there is a line of residue on the back cover from glue that was used to adhere the TV magazine to the newspaper when it was issued - the pages are yellowed with age - there are a few wrinkles on the cover - there is a bump to the right edge of the cover and a couple pages. Local TV magazines are much harder to find than the nationally issued TV Guide. This TV News was only available in the Chicago area. A NICE PIECE OF MY THREE SONS / CHICAGO TV HISTORY! Postage is $3.75.
