1985 Sesame Street Film Follow That Bird 14 Photos Press Kit Big Bird Muppets
This is an original movie press kit for the 1985 Sesame Street film "Follow That Bird". This kit would have been sent to movie reviewers, newspapers, etc to promote the film. The kit consists of a color folder which holds the items, one page of credits, four pages on "Caroll Spinney's Big Bird & Oscar: the Two Faces of Childhood, 29 pages of on "Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird " Productiion Information. And the kit also contains 14 different 8" x 10" black and white photos. I''' list the photo number and the subject (the photos are in numberical order and I've shown photos of the stills in the same order): BK-6-A: Big Bird walking down the road with two kids, BK-16: Big Bird and a girl at a water pump, BK-30: Big Bird on a bed writing a letter, BK-54: Big Bird and Snuffle-Upagus, BK-44: 4 Sesame Street actors pushing a VW with Cookie Monster inside, BK-63: A biplane chasing Big Bird (a la North by Northwest), BK-65: Maria and Susan with Telly Monster, BK-66: Big Bird at the airport with the Dodos, BK-62: a montage with Big Bird in the middle and other muppets around the sides, BK-67: Big Bird talking to Waylon Jennings in a turkey farm truck, BK-68: Big Bird and Miss Finch on Sesame Street, BK-69: Big Bird leading a parade with a band, BK-613: a montage of the actors in the film, and BK-614: montage of the Sesame Street actors in the film. The photos are in good condition, they have a little wavein them from the press kit being stored upright, but could lay flat if placed in sheet protectors or with a backing board. The folder is in good condition - it has a slight bend in it - it has some light dirt/discoloration - there is a sticker mark in the upper right hand corner - there are some small creases.
