1941 Maria Kurenko Concert Handbill CHGO Orchestra Hall Opera War Victim Benefit
This is an original two-sided handbill for a Maria Kurenko song recital at Chicago's Orchestra Hall on Wed., April 9th (1941). This was a benefit with the entire proceeds going to the Tolstoy Foundation for relief of war victims and refugees. Sergei Tarnowsky will accompany on the piano. The reverse side has information in the singer along with reviews of previous performances. The handbill measures 6-1/4" x 9-1/2". The handbill is in very good condition - there is some light dirt on it - there is minor wrinkles at the bottom - there are a few very light, small creases. A NICE PIECE OF MARIA KURENKO CONCERT / OPERA MEMORABILIA THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! Postage is $3.50.
