1941 Lily Pons Civic Opera House Concert Handbill Chicago Leopold Stokowski
This is an original two-sided handbill for two concerts at the Civic Opera House in 1941. The first is a concert on April 19th (1941) by Lily Pons, "World's Greatest Coloratura Soprano" with conductor Andre Kostelanetz. Tickets were $2.50 to $5.00 and were a benefit for the Margaret Etter Creche. The concert advertised on the other side is Leopold Stokowski conducting the All American Youth Orchestra on June 2nd. The handbill measures 8" x 10-1/2". The handbill is in good condition - there are a few light creases, one on Lily Pons face. A NICE PIECE OF LILY PONS CONCERT / OPERA MEMORABILIA THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! Postage is $3.75.
