1940 NY World's Fair Publicity Photos American Jubilee Performance 8x10 s
This is for two original publicity photos sent out by the publicity department of the New York World's Fair to newspapers and magazines in 1940. The photos measure 8" x 10". The back is stamped "From Leo Casey, Director of Publicity - World's Fair of 1940 in New York". "American Jubilee" and most likely a photo number "19356" are written in pencil on the back of one. And the same makrings are on the back of the other photo, but with a photo number of #19354. The first photo (19354, the one with the car on the right, near the stage) is in good condition - there is a 2" diagonal crease in the lower right hand corner - there is a 2" diagonal crease about 2" above the right corner crease - there are four approx 1" marks along the right edge (most visible if held at an angle in the light) - there are a few small creases. The second photo is in good condition - there are a couple 1" creases in the upper left - there is a light horizontal line across the photo about 1" from the top - there is a 2" diagonal crease in the lower right hand corner - there are a couple smaller creases. A NICE PAIR OF PHOTOS FROM THE 1939 / 1940 NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR THAT WEREN'T AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC! Postage is $3.25.
