EXPO '58 US Pavilion Restaurant The Brass Rail of New York 1958 Brussels Belgium
This is an original souvenir menu from the American Restaurant of the US Pavilion at Expo '58 in Brussels Belgium - The Brass Rail. The menu measures 8-1/2" x 10-7/8" and has 8 pages. Attached to the front of the menu in the upper left hand corner is a card advertising the Brass Rail's "Holiday on Ice Nestles Ice Cream Sunday" for 25 Belgian Francs. The card also advertises the Holiday on Ice during Expo '58 at Palais des Sports of Brussels from July 1 - 20, 1958. The card is stapled to the front cover of the menu. The menu is on paper stock. The two center pages show menu choices for the Brass Rail . (There are a few stains on these two pages - probably from food - one price has been changed) The menu is in fair condition - there is a horizontal crease through the middle from being folded in half - there is light dirt on the covers - there is a 1" tear/split at the top of the cover that is taped from the back (on page two) - there are couple small tears around the edges - there is light rust on the staples - page seven has a light stain - the back cover has some light stains/yellowing on the back half - the back cover has some small tears - there are couple light marks on the cover.
