Expo 75 Okinawa Japan 3 Different Large Shopping Bags 1975 Exposition
This are three different large plastic shopping bags from Expo '75 - the International Ocean Exposition - Okinawa, Japan. The largest one (which has a photo on one side) measures 16" x 20" high x 4-1/2" deep, when opened. One side has a photo with "Okinawa" above it - the reverse side has the waves symbol of the expo and "Expo '75" beneath it with Japanese characters. The bag is made of paper with clear plastic covering the outside of the bag and a rope handle. The bag is yellowed with age and has a very small tear in the plastic on the bottom. The second and third bags each measure 15-1/4" x 19-1/2" tall x 5" deep, when opened. Both are made of plastic and have a hard plastic handle with pegs to "lock" the bag at the top. The second bag is made of plastic with the Expo wave logo with "Expo '75 - The sea we would like to see" on both sides. The third bag is made of plastic with what looks like porpoises on both sides with the Expo '75 logo at the bottom. The second and third bags are in good condition - there is some dirt on the white plastic handles. A NICE GROUP OF SHOPPING BAGS FROM EXPO '75 - PROBABLY NOT A LOT OF WERE SAVED! These will ship slightly rolled in a large priority box. This package will weigh 2 pounds when packed.
