World Expo 2005 Aichi Japan Map Event Guide Info Booklet World's Fair Exposition
(Scroll down to see all the photos - click on the photo to get a closeup view) This auction is for three different items from World Expo 2005 - held in Aichi, Japan in 2005. This lot includes an official sire guidance map, an event guide sheet from the week of Sept 2 - 8th and an Expo 2005 Information booklet. The map measures 4" x 8-1/4" (folded) and 16" x 23" (unfolded). The map is in very good condition.
The event guide is one sheet and measures 15-1/2" x 10-3/4" (it is folded in half and has some wrinkles). The Info Booklet measures 7-1/8" x 10-1/8" and has 28 pages. The booklet is in very good condition with a few wrinkles. A NICE GROUP OF ITEMS FROM EXPO 2005 IN AICHI, JAPAN! Postage is $3.50. Most were taken by one man who attended most every World's Fair and expositions between those years. Snapshots of expos in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Japan, Australia, etc. Last year I purchased an enormous collection of World's Fair items from just about every World's Fair and Exposition from San Diego 1915 through Japan 2005. It seems like the man visited just about every fair and expo from 1964 through 2005 all over the world - Canada, Japan, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Australia, the U.S. and other countries. I'm still going through the 40+ containers which contain souvenirs, photos, slides (He took lots of photographs and slides of these expositions), books, publications, etc. The man was also an editor for a book publisher in New York City and he received many press kits on some of these fairs. These press kits contained press releases and photos and weren't available to the general public. If you are looking for a particular world's fair or exposition, let me know and I'll list them.
