1985 "Old" Coke Hits the Spot Jack Higgins Orig Editorial Cartoon Art Coca Cola
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1985. The artwork was probably run after "New Coke" came out and there was an uproar and Coke started making the original formula again and sales increased. The artwork measures approx. 12-1/2" x 17-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back you can see some markings / notes made by Sun-Times editors. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there is some light dirt along the edges (see photos) - there is a 3" x 1/2" sticker on the back at the bottom, which was probably put on by the newspaper - there is light dirt on the back of the art and ink transfer on the back from artwork that was stored under this one. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
