1997 Paparazzi Vultures Jack Higgins Orig Editorial Cartoon Art Princess Diana
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1997. The artwork shows a vulture with a camera with the caption "Paparazzi". This was most likely a reference to the death of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed in a car crash while being followed by photographers. The artwork measures approx. 11-3/4" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. There is a light sketch on the reverse side of the artwork which may have been a preliminary sketch for the art on the front. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are a few editor notes along the bottom - there is a light 2" diagonal bend on the upper right hand corner. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
