1991 Jack Higgins Original Editorial Cartoon Art Saddam Hussein Footnote Defeat
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1991. The artwork shows Saddam Hussein trapped under a footprint. The caption on the artwork reads "Footnote". This probably refers to the defeat of Saddam Hussein's forces in 1991 after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. The artwork measures approx. 11" x 14". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are some light corrections and touch-ups on the art - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
