1994 300 Year Wait South Africa Vote Jack Higgins Editorial Cartoon Apartheid
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1994. The artwork deals with the first South African election to allow all races to vote in 1994 that led to the National Assembly electing Nelson Mandela as President. The artwork measures approx. 11-1/2" x 14-1/2". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges/ light dirt on the art - there are editor notes written along the left edge - there is a small scribble in the upper right hand corner - the bottom left edge is a little uneven. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my listings for a few other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
