1982 Exercise Your Right to Vote Orig Editorial Cartoon Art Jack Higgins Poster
This is the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1982. (The second year Jack Higgins worked for the Chicago Sun-Times) The cartoon was run the day before election day as the editor notes on the back are "Monday Views" and the art has "Vote on Tuesday" at the bottom. The artwork measures approx. 11-3/4" x 17-5/8". (The artwork is large enough to use as a poster) This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. The artwork is in good condition - there are four small light brown dots (largest is 1/8") in the upper left quarter of the art, one in the top margin (see the third photo) - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there are some editor's notes written on the back - on the back of the art in the lower left hand corner there is a small piece of cellophane tape and a small piece of paper, that was probably a tag from the newspaper - on the back there is some spots from ink from other pieces of his artwork that was store underneath this one. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator. Jack Higgins has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times for over 35 years and won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning in 1989. Check out my other listings for other cartoons by Jack Higgins.
