Antique Capodimonte Porcelain Trinket Box Crown with N
Very old either antique or vintage Capo Di Monte Porcelain Trinket Box very cute 3.1/2 inches wide. I know the Mark is not at all recent. I would say its early 1900's But I am not an expert on this I listed the mark judge for yourself.
The pictures did not do it justice. The coloring is an antique white and I dont know if it was already that way or it was white and has become darkened with age (so why is it antique white?) lol Also the flowers are both vivid and subtle... if you can understand that....the leaves are a light mint green that is gorgeous with the greyish white back ground.
First let me tell you... its in perfect condition. No chips scratches or cracks... not that I have noticed! It can use a little cleaning but its minor. (Please note there is nothing wrong with the lid or box I just did not have the lid on very well when I took the pictures!) Silly me.
I have always loved the piece and I hate to sell any of my treasures but times are tough and my house is only so big! Look at some of my other items for more collectables, antiques, and vintage stuff. I will combine items to save on shipping (if possible!)
As with any of my antiques or vintage pieces, they are one of a kind. I am not saying you may not find something identical or similar out there, but you more than likely you will not find a piece like it in my store. And the chances of me having another one like it in the future are slim. I spend a lot of time looking for treasures that will make people happy!
