Welcome to the auction of a very fine to mint condition American 27 by 41 inch folded one sheet size movie poster for HELP! . The BEATLES movie stars John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Leo McKern, Eleanor Bron, Victor Spinetti, Roy Kinnear and John Bluthal. THIS CONTROVERSIAL ONE SHEET THAT HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE LONG BEFORE I ENTERED THE BUSINESS IN 1986. THESE ONE SHEETS HAVE NO NSS NUMBERS IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER, AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY OR WHEN THEY WERE PRINTED BUT HAVE THE QUALITY OF PRINTING OF THE ORIGINALS . I have noticed that on Ebay some of the one sheet's being offered as of today sept.9th, 2013 for huge prices are the same as this example having no NSS numbers in there photo of their poster. Bruce Hershenson's emovieposter auctions contain this info - Important Added Info: Note that exact REPROs of this poster surfaced in the hobby many years ago. They were very professionally done, and you could tell they were REPROs both because they lack NSS numbers, and because they were printed on a shinier glossier paper (but they were folded like regular one-sheets). We don't know who created these or when, but we are guessing the 1970s. They have often been sold as originals, either innocently, or for deceptive reasons. I have met no one that knows the origin of these one sheets for sure , just because they lack NSS info doe's not necessary mean they were not produced outside the NSS contract by the studio for promotions outside the NSS contract but this is just speculation , in any case his recent auctions have brought $120 to $180 for this poster. Add $8.85 for shipping IN A VERY THICK TUBE to your winning bid. .All other countries add $22 to your winning bid for shipping plus $2 each for extra posters.
