Welcome to the auction of a absolutely guaranteed original folded apprx. fine to very fine condition original release 1963 twenty four sheet size ( approximately 9 feet high by 20 feet long ) movie poster of The Birds . The 1963 Alfred Hitchcock horror film stars Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, Tippi Hedren and Veronica Cartwright . This 24-sheet was printed in 14 sections and has never ever been unfolded including by me - so it fits very compactly in 2 nice apprx 15 inches by 35 inches folded pieces containing all the panels, and then these pieces containing all the pices are folded in half to be the above apprx. size as you can see from the photo of it ,and one of the 2 sections is in the middle of the other, both being folded in half, and so I am very certain it is complete as to me it is clear neither of the 2 parts have every been unfolded before and to me this tells me it is near certain to be complete. When sent you will be email the exact weight of the poster, if it is returned it would need to weigh exactly the same upon return obviously or a section would of been removed. The photo at the top is from a close-up of a 3 sheet scan i had so you can see what the colors and artwork look like in this area as they are the same art as you can see from a pressbook picture of the poster in black and white just below it -but obviously it is in color like the three sheet close-up photo , so I have added the three sheet close-up photo JUST to give you a idea of what the colors look like - OBVIOUSLY a THREEE SHEET IS NOT INCLUDED. Then the photo's below these top 2 are photo's I took of the appearance of the actual 24 sheet and the very bottom photo I opened it while folded to the area shown at the top .Add $14 for PRIORITY USPS shipping .
