TRACY SABIN POSTER 26x40 Inch SERIGRAPH 1980's BEAUTIFUL GIRL WITH CAT
Welcome to the auction of a absolutely guaranteed original rolled near mint condition and unused gallery print apprx. 26 by 40 inches originally published by Mirage Editions in the 1980s of TRACY SABIN . This piece is printed on very thick expensive high quality paper and is offered at a very low minimum bid compared to it's original retail. Again this is not a cheap poster OR even a expensive gallery print but a very, very expensive and labor intensive serigraph published at $90 retail or more originally . Serigraphs if you haven't seen them in person are quite striking , instead of the grainy appearance of regular printing you see solid color , very smooth, very beautiful and lends a unique flavor to a piece's impression and it exactly does this with these 2 similiar prints I have of a beautiful woman relaxing on a couch both by the ever more famous and highly collected Tracy Sabin !!. Serigraphs are the fancy name given in the world of fine art to silkscreen printing , a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support a ink-block stencil . The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas. A HAND MADE - ONE AT A TIME - LABOR INTENSIVE, REALLY EXPENSIVE PROCESS AND PRODUCING A REALLY COOL LOOKING AND UNUSUAL EYE CATCHING END RESULT. Add $6.85 for shipping to the U.S.A. and Canada to your winning bid . All other countries add $18 for shipping plus a additional dollar fifty shipping for every extra poster . --- MORE INFO ON THE ARTIST ---TRACY SABIN .
