Welcome to the fixed price auction of a absolutely guaranteed original near mint condition American 11 by 14 inch TITLE LOBBY CARD for THE NEW FRONTIER , the movie stars JOHN WAYNE . Monogram studios merged with Lone Star Productions and several other producers to form Republic Studios in 1935 . John Wayne was one of the stars used to launch the new franchise. This Western was only Wayne's second with Republic Studios. He remained with Republic until the early 1950s. Republic produced some of the best looking 1930s lobby cards and posters and this awesome card is a good example of that. On November 13th, 2007 this exact same card went for $1434.00 lot number 29014 in a Heritage auction. That card was in near mint and so is this one. This card is in unrestored very fine to near mint condition exactly as that one was. Although in there records there were 4 sales the last few years of the one sheet , once for $9200 , there was only the one sale of this extremely rare title card.
