BOTH PHOTO'S ARE OF THE SAME CARD , THE TOP IS A CONTEX WIDE IMAGE SCANNER SCAN OF THE CARD , AND THE BOTTOM IS A DIGITAL CAMERA PHOTO TAKEN WITH A FLASH THAT MAKES IT SEEM DAMAGED BUT IT IS NOT, IT'S JUST TAKED STRAIGHT ON AND IS REFLECTING OF THE CARD'S SURFACE, BUT IT DOES SHOW THE REAL DAMAGE IN TERMS OF THE 2 PIECES QUITE CLEARLY. KEEP IN MIND THE CARD LOOKS GREAT IN PERSON AND LOOKS VERY MUCH LIKE THE TOP IMAGE BUT BETTER. The film stars Errol Flynn, Alexis Smith, Jack Carson, Alan Hale, John Loder, William Frawley, Minor Watson and Ward Bond. This card was cut in half vertically and had the top trimmed off like so many window cards and it was replaced by one of best restorers in the country, let me explain. If properly restored correctly certain window cards have to have the poster removed from its very thick paper backing , some window cards were printed for the studios like this in composite layers and others were one piece of card stock thickness paper , this card was the former type and restorers charge at least $200 to do this process of peeling off the poster and rebacking it on appropriate to the period paper , this particular kind of paper is very, very, very hard to find ask any restorer or call me for details- MOST WONT HAVE IT in truth and this window card has been restored to its original near mint condition appearance very expensively and restored to the exact paper backing used for this card in that period making it the most original possible for a restored piece.
