2 Disbound Folios of French Cartoons by Albert Guillaume--1897-1900
I am selling tow disbound folios of French illustrations/cartoons by Albert Guillaume. The folios are entitled "Y A Des Dames" and "Des Bonshommes." Both were published by H. Simonis Empis, Paris, circa 1897-1900. Both are completely disbound and all pages are loose. Covers are torn, separated and edges of many pages are chipped and worn. I do not know how many pages and illustrations should have appeared in either folio as pages are not numbered. Des Bonshommes contains 21 pages of black & white illustrations. Y A Des Dames contains 14 pages of color illustrations. Folios measure 11 X 14 1/4. A SCARCE FEW copies of these original folios can be found on other internet booksites and they are being offered for upwards of $400 EACH!!!! I will offer both of these worn, incomplete folios for only $50.00 plus $4.00 S&H in the US. Canadian shipping costs will be considerably less than the general international shipping rates quoted.
