TSR Alternity Player's & Gamemaster's Fast Play Rules
This two-sided magazine includes fast-play rules for the Alternity Science Fiction Game from TSR. One side has rules from the Player's Handbook, and the other from the Gamemaster's Guide.
Which Future Do You Want to Play?
Will you lead a crack counterterrorist squad in the
fight against earthbound evil? Will you crawl from the rubble of an
alien invasion to build a new human civilization? Will you lead an
expedition to the farthest reaches of the galaxy? You can do all this
and more in the alternate tomorrows of the Alternity game!
This
is science fiction roleplaying at its best, with a layered rules system
that lets you make the game as simple or complex as you choose! With an
all-encompassing core mechanic and a system that emphasizes character
skills and abilities over type or class, the Alternity game offers you a vast array of possibilities as you discover what the future holds for you!

Which Future Do You Want to Play?
Send heroes on a stellar scavenger hunt to solve the
mysteries of an ancient alien culture. Put them in the front lines of
an interstellar war. Assign them to protect Earth's leaders from
assassins. Whatever challenge you decide to confront your players with,
the Gamemaster Guide puts you in control.
The Gamemaster Guide contains rules for creating
supporting characters, starships, even entire star systems with varying
planetary environments for any setting you choose. A detailed tactical
vehicle combat system allows you to orchestrate battles between ships
in the depths of space. You'll find guidelines for integrating over 30
different species of aliens, creatures, and dangerous animals into your
adventures. Complete with charts and tables for easy reference, the Gamemaster Guide puts the alternate tomorrows of science fiction roleplaying at your fingertips!
Includes an introductory adventure: Cauldron Station.
Published in 1998, this Alternity Fast-Play rules
booklet written by Richard Baker and Bill Slavicsek is NEW: Brand new

About Me Hail and well met! Welcome to Hieroglyphs Books! I've been a gamer for 20 years (wow, that's scary!), and so you can be sure that I'm describing items accurately as to condition and contents. I've used most of the modules and books myself, so I know what's supposed to be there.
I work full-time in addition to selling books on eBay, so please be patient if you don't receive an immediate response from me. I do try to ship items the next day after payment is received, though that may not always be possible. Condition Description I try to describe my items as clearly as possible, so you understand exactly what you are bidding on.
- New: Item still in shrinkwrap, or has obviously never been used.
- Mint: Shrinkwrap has been removed, or shrinkwrap is damaged. There are no material faults with the cover and the pages.
- Near Mint: There are one or two small flaws with the cover or the pages. This would include whitening on cover edges or stray pencil marks inside.
- Very Good: Item has multiple small flaws, such as whitening or stray pencil marks.
- Good: Item has multiple flaws that could include damage to covers or pages. Does not affect the useability of the item.
- Acceptable: Item has a large number of flaws, but item is still useable.
Return Policy I want you to be happy with your purchase. Unlike other stores, all sales are not final. If the item you receive differs materially from what I listed, please contact me within 30 days of auction close, and I will refund your purchase price (minus any shipping charges). Winning More Auctions Interested in winning more auctions? I use Auctionsniper, a great program that places your bid for you at the last second. Plus, they'll help you search for items as well!
