I am an avid spinner and love exploring different fibers, mixing fibers, spinning novelty yarns and experimenting with natural and other dyes and dying methods.
I will be adding auctions for some of my handspun and hand dyed yarns in the near future. One of my latest accomplishments is spinning yarn that transitions as the skein progresses, and spinning various complementary skeins to use together for shawls and hats etc. Soon I will be adding items made from some of my one-of-a- kind yarns.
Tan (Lt Brown) Llama
This is one ounce of washed tan llama fiber for spinning, dyeing of felting.
Even though it is washed, there is still some veggie matter in it that falls out easily when flick hand or drum carding.
It also takes dye well.
I have combined this llama with many other fibers using hand cards or my drum carder.
It gives a nice softness and texture to yarns when mixed with various types of wool, or silk.
