VINTAGE Squirrel S & P Shakers f/Rockefeller Center
Whether you are a collector of Squirrel items, salt and pepper shakers, or New York City memorabilia, these are definitely worthy of your attention! They appear to be silver plate. Each shaker has a sash-like banner across the front which says, "Rockefeller Center, N.Y." The corks are numbered 228, in a calligraphy style. Also on the bottom are the initials J. B., the number 864, and a copyright symbol. Both of these guys are munching on, what else(?), a nut! They have wonderful detail! There is some minor pitting on one shaker, nothing offensive considering their age. This is an exceptional set of shakers and it's unlikely you'll find many others! They are approx. 2 1/4" tall.
