ANTIQUE Edison *Hotpoint* Toaster 1900s It works!!
The following listing is for a vintage toaster, made by the Edison *HOTPOINT* Company. It's incredibly cool looking and has cut out decorated sides and top. It's signed on the bottom, and has a series of patent numbers~~1924, 1910, and 1914. It has a wonderful old switch, and plug. The toaster is in working condition and makes great toast! It's in good overall condition, although the surface is somewhat scratched from use and cleaning over the years. The knobs used to turn the sides down are a bit rough. One of the porcelain (?) resistors, or conductors inside is missing, but this doesn't seem to affect it's ability to toast. This is great nostalgic piece of the past, and I'm told these are pretty rare to find. This is another wonderful piece from the attic we are cleaning out here in the area. It's fresh to the market, having been packed away for many, many years! It measures approximately 7 1/4" tall and is about 6 1/2" long at the base.
