Vintage Pair Tooled Leather Humidor Set Initials GED
The following listing is for two great looking humidors, one large for cigars, one smaller, I assume for cigarettes. They are wonderfully tooled leather, which is very rich looking, with metal tops and cedar interiors. Both are monogrammed with the initials, G.E.D., inside beautifully designed crests, whose pattern extends around the circumference of the container. There are traces of green paint or dye in these decorations. Both are cedar lined and have real ocean sponges in the lids. The smaller humidor has a brass lifter inside, and has the added benefit of decorative engraving on it's lid. The larger humidor measures approximately 7" tall, with a diameter of about 4 1/4", while the smaller one is about 4" tall, with a diameter of about 2 1/2". Both are in very good condition. The larger one has a bit of wear, but nothing offensive. The smaller one was stored inside, and has little, if any, wear at all. These very handsome vintage items are another great find from the attic we are cleaning out here in the area, and are super fresh to the market!
