Antique GIANT Nail Puller Tool Smith/Hemenway Co
The following listing is for a great old iron nail puller. It has the name 'GIANT' on it, and was made by the Smith & Hemenway Co. Inc., of Irvington, New Jersey. It also has a large 'C' on it, and Trademark No. 1. The nail puller measures approximately18 3/4", and telescopes out to about 24" long. There is a hole that goes through the handle, which suggests to me that it may have had a pin of some sort that went through this?? Not sure...It's in good condition, but there is one small chunk taken out of the handle. This is about 3/8 inch in size, and is an old break. This is another item from the attic we bought out here in the area, and is fresh to the market!
