ANTIQUE PURE STEEL Kitchen Utensils Knife Fork & More
The following listing is for a lot of three early utensils. The lot includes~~one very old knife (12 1/2" long) with a wooden handle which is probably maple. The words 'PURE STEEL' appear on the blade~~~one nice early three tined cooking fork (13 1/2" long), with a nicely shaped, scribed handle, also most likely maple~~~one somewhat later bread or cake knife (12 3/4" long), also with a wooden handle with slight traces of paint. This has a great looking blade which must be an early version of the serrated knife. All three are in good condition for the age, with nice patina. The fork and cake knife have some signs of rust, although nothing bad (may be removable?) and the tines on the fork are a bit bent due to age and use. The pure steel knife only has a bit of rust near the handle, but nothing major or offensive. Great little accessories for your country kitchen!!
