Very Old LGE Paper Doll Carriage & Bassinet Stand Ups
The following listing is for two really nice vintage paper doll accessories. These are not dated, but appear to be quite early ones. First we have a gorgeous bassinet, with all manner of frills, with a sleepy puppy lying at it's base. The second piece is a wonderful baby carriage, obviously in a park with squirrels munching nuts next to the carriage. The carriage is frilly and beribboned, and has a pretty little stuffed bunny as well as another toy in it. I believe these were probably both made to stand up by themselves although the baby carriage no longer has a stand, if that was the case. There is a tiny indication of where it might've been attached. This piece also has a bit of creasing in the lower left hand corner, and a spot where the finished paper coating has peeled back (maybe 5/8" long). This is not a tear that goes through, just a blemish on the top layer. These are pretty minor things and the carriage is in good condition. The bassinet appears to be in very good condition. These are quite large cut outs. The carriage measures approximately 11" by 10 1/4", while the bassinet measures about 10 1/4" by 10 1/2". I'm not sure what vintage doll these would have been meant for. They would also be great to decorate a vintage nursery! These come directly from an attic and are fresh to the market.
