VTG Novelty Toy Little Man w Green Hair Watch it Grow
The following listing is for a fairly rare vintage novelty item, called 'The Little Man with the Green Hair'~~Watch it Grow! This a precursor to today's chia pet idea. The item consists of a man's head (looks somewhat like a clown) attached to a card, with a tab in the back that is placed in a glass of water. It says that hair will sprout in 4 to 7 days. This was made by the Pico Novelty Company of Los Angeles, California, with patent pending. The card measures approximately 4 7/8" by 3 1/2". It was found in the attic we bought the contents of and is in very good, unused, condition.
