Vintage Spatter Painted Chocolate Pot Germany LDB Co.
The following listing is for a nice tall vintage chocolate pot. It's a spatterware type of paint under the glaze. The rim and the handle (on one side only) have painted black pin striping, and the top of the knob is in black paint also. It's signed LDB Company, Germany, on the bottom. The pot is in very good condition, with minimal wear. There is a chip on one of the 'locks' on the lid, which of course doesn't show when displayed. The chocolate pot measures approximately 9 1/4" tall. This is from the house we bought the contents of here in the area, and is fresh to the market!
