Antique Silver Mother Mary Medal dated 1830 Germany
The following listing is for a beautiful antique religious medal or necklace pendant. It's silver colored metal, but has no markings to indicate real silver. It depicts Mary with the prayer, O Mary Conceived Without Sin Pray For Us Who Have Recourse To Thee. It has a cross entwined with the letter 'M' as well as two flaming hearts (one with an arrow through it) on the back. It's marked Germany. The medal is in good condition, but does show wear and some scratching. It measures approximately 1 1/2" and comes from one of the houses we bought the contents of, so is market fresh! Beautiful!!
